French Historic Circuit Championship

In 2026, the Historic Tour, the French VHC Circuit Championship, will begin its twelfth season with renewed ambition and undiminished passion, supported by a loyal, enthusiastic and committed community.

Since its inception, this championship has been based on a simple idea: to bring our automotive heritage to life by returning it to where it is best expressed — on the track. In 2026, this philosophy remains at the heart of every meeting. Cars from the 1950s to the 1990s will compete in a rigorous, friendly and accessible sporting environment, bringing together generations of drivers, cars and knowledgeable enthusiasts.

 The Championship comprises 4 categories:

Single-seaters/Protos: Trophée FRenault Classic, Challenge Formula Ford Historic, Trophée Formule Ford Kent.

GT/Touring Pre 1990: Lotus Trophy, Sprint Series Between 66, Sprint Series Between 81

GT/Touring Post 1990: GT Classic, Youngtimers 2L Cup

French Historic Endurance Championship: 200 km Historic Tour

Races take place over 20 to 30 minutes depending on the category, and 90 minutes for the endurance race
