Magny-Cours Racing Cup | Event Presentation

The Meeting of Two Worlds!
The very opposite ends of motorsport are set to meet on 12–13 July at the Nevers Magny-Cours circuit! This exceptional weekend promises a spectacular and unexpected clash between two universes that have nothing in common, brought together on the same asphalt for the Magny-Cours Racing Cup.
On one side, the razor-sharp elegance and extreme speed of Formula GP single-seaters. These exceptional machines, boasting over 2.4-litre engines, recall the golden age of Formula 1 and will roar around the demanding Magny-Cours track.
On the other, the raw power and imposing size of the Nevers Magny-Cours Truck Grand Prix. These racing giants, impressive in both size and surprisingly agile, will deliver a thrilling, hard-hitting show.
Speed versus strength, finesse versus brute force: the Magny-Cours Racing Cup celebrates the extremes of motorsport for the delight of enthusiasts and the curious alike.
Get ready for an unprecedented mechanical showdown!
A Must-See Event This Season
After touring all across Europe, the series making up the Magny-Cours Racing Cup are heading to a circuit that hosted the Formula 1 French Grand Prix 18 times between 1991 and 2008. A perfect venue to write new history in the tire tracks of the greats!
For the second time, HVM Racing will welcome rounds of the French Truck Championship alongside its own third event of the year, after stops at Circuit Paul Ricard and Nogaro. This unique pairing promises an intense three-day spectacle that should draw big crowds to Magny-Cours.
As the racing trucks take over the paddock, the historic Formula 1 cars of the Formula GP grid will be eager to let their V8, V10, and V12 engines roar. It’s the third championship round after Circuit Paul Ricard and Zandvoort, with drivers battling the clock in “Time Attack” format sessions.
The Lotus Cup Europe will bring you firmly back to the present with its modern single-make grid, contesting its fifth double-header of the season in the Nièvre.
Finally, HVM Racing is introducing a new historic endurance race format, with touring cars, GTs, and prototypes battling it out for four hours on this demanding circuit. Inspired by their highly successful “200 KM” format, this race promises fierce battles both on track and in the pits, where driver changes and refuelling strategies will be key to success.
