    Format of the events:

    The F. Renault Historic & Classic Trophy 2026 will take place over the following five events:

    • April 24–25–26 – Historic Tour Dijon (2 QP 20’ + 2 R 25’)

    • May 8–9–10 – Grand Prix de France Historique (1 QP 20’ + 2 R 25’)

    • May 22–23 – Historic Tour Val de Vienne (1 QP 20’ + 2 R 25’)

    • September 18–19–20 – Historic Tour Charade (2 QP 20’ + 2 R 25’)

    • October 16–17 – Historic Tour Magny-Cours (1 QP 20’ + 2 R 25’)

    QP: Qualifying Practice | R: Races

    The Formula Renault Historic & Classic category will include all Formula Renault cars that competed in official events before December 31, 2009.

    The Formula Renault Historic & Classic category will include all Formula Renault cars that competed in official events before December 31, 2009, according to the following category breakdown:

    • Formula Renault Historic:
      All Formula Renault cars built and having competed in official races before December 31, 1994 (in all their versions: National, Europe, Turbo, Naturally Aspirated, etc.).

    • Cat A / Formula Renault Classic:
      All Formula Renault cars built and having competed in official races after December 31, 1994 and before December 31, 2009 (in all versions: 1.6L, 2.0L, etc.).

    • Cat B / Invited Formulae – F4 Classic:
      Single-seater F4 cars of Generation 1, in their original configuration, compliant with homologations prior to January 1, 2015.

    • Cat C / Invited Formulae:
      Single-seaters with performance levels similar to those of Category A (e.g. Formula Ford 2000, Formula Super V, F3, F3 1600, F3 1000, etc.) may be accepted on an individual basis.
      F3 Classic 2.0L cars are welcome in Category C / Invited Formulae.

    Licences:

    Each driver must hold at least a national competitor/driver licenceWeekend licences (participation permits) are also available.
    Write “TP” on the entry form to request a participation permit. To obtain one, the following documents are required:

    • A medical certificate stating no contraindication to the practice of motor sport, issued within the last 6 months

    • A copy of the driver’s licence

    Transponders:

    Since the 2022 season, competitors must be equipped with:

    • Chronelec / Tag Heuer by Chronelec transponders, Elite type, or

    • ITS Chrono transponders, Cobra 360 type (available for purchase here).

    Write “Loc” on the entry form to rent a transponder on site.
    Rental is available from the timekeeper Florent Renault during events at a rate of €50 per meeting.
