HVM Racing: organiser of motor races for historic vehicles

PETER AUTO AND HVM RACING OFFICIALISE THEIR PARTNERSHIP

Le Mans, 2 July 2026. On the occasion of Mans Classic Legend, Peter Auto announces its partnership with HVM Racing, a recognised player in the organisation of historic motorsport events. This move marks a new stage in the development of both organisations, with a shared ambition: to establish the leading hub for historic motorsport in Europe.

Driven by the same passion for automotive heritage and a shared vision for its future, Peter Auto and HVM Racing aim to combine their expertise in order to sustainably strengthen the appeal of historic motorsport among drivers, manufacturers, partners and the general public.

TWO COMPLEMENTARY AREAS OF EXPERTISE

For more than thirty years, Peter Auto has established itself as an international benchmark through the organisation of prestigious historic racing series and major events such as Le Mans Classic, the Tour Auto and Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille.

HVM Racing brings recognised expertise in historic single-seaters and in the organisation of popular events attracting large audiences. The company notably organises the Grand Prix de France Historique, the Dijon Motors Cup, the Gran Premio Storico d’Italia, the Historic Tour, as well as the Dijon and Magny-Cours Truck Grand Prix events.

This complementarity now makes it possible to cover a particularly broad spectrum of historic motorsport, from single-seaters to GT cars and prototypes, with an event offering capable of bringing together enthusiasts and collectors alike.

A DEVELOPMENT BASED ON SYNERGIES

As part of this operation, HVM Racing will retain its identity, name and organisation under the leadership of Laurent Vallery-Masson.

The partnership will enable the gradual development of numerous synergies, particularly around:
• The development of sporting calendars;
• Historic grids;
• Relationships with circuits;
• The experience offered to competitors and spectators;
• As well as the creation of bridges between the different categories of historic motorsport.

“This partnership is based above all on a shared conviction: historic motorsport is currently experiencing strong momentum and has tremendous development potential. By bringing together our expertise, we aim to build a leading player capable of delivering ever more ambitious events, while continuing to bring this exceptional heritage to life for all generations of enthusiasts,” said Marc Ouayoun, CEO of Peter Auto.

“The purpose of this partnership is above all to build a stronger, more coherent and more ambitious project for historic motorsport. Together, the two entities aim to develop more consistent calendars, offer more opportunities to drivers and partners, while sustainably consolidating existing events. Although each entity will retain its own identity, our shared ambition is to enrich the spectator experience through more immersive and better-staged events. This collaboration will also encourage bridges between the various historic disciplines — single-seaters, GT cars and prototypes — in order to showcase the full heritage of motorsport,” added Laurent Vallery-Masson, President of HVM Racing.
