HVM Racing: organiser of motor races for historic vehicles

Historic Tour Paul Ricard | Film of the week-end

For its third round of the season, the Historic Tour enjoyed a weekend in the Var region, at the Paul Ricard circuit.

A weekend paced by 18 races, spread across 10 distinct grids. In total, nearly 230 drivers, at the wheel of 210 cars, competed on the former F1 layout in its 3.775 km version, without the chicane.

In three months, the fourth round of the French Historic Circuit Championship will take place at the Val de Vienne circuit, on September 19, 20, and 21, following a well-deserved summer break.

In the Single-Seaters/Prototypes category, one driver achieved a perfect score over the first three weekends: François Belle (Formula Ford Historic). With 240 points out of a possible 240, he now leads Axel Castillou (190 points in Formula Ford Kent), winner of Race 1 this weekend, by 50 points. Swiss driver Jean Dionisotti, with a second and a third place in Formula Ford Historic, follows closely with 188 points after six races.

In Pre-90 GT/Touring, Alain Lagache (Maxi 2L) retains the lead after two second-place finishes this weekend. Julien Nougaret, also in Roadster Pro Cup, completes the podium with 188 points.

In Historic Endurance, Sébastien Mathieu remains in the lead despite finishing fourth this weekend. He has 101 points, 11 more than Jean-Pierre Destombes, who climbed to second place thanks to his victory at Paul Ricard.
