Historic Tour Magny-Cours | film of the week-end

For its final round of the season, the Historic Tour set up in the Nièvre region, on the legendary Nevers Magny-Cours circuit. A weekend filled with 21 races across 11 grids, during which the checkered flags crowned the four French Champions of the Historic Circuits Championship. In total, nearly 320 drivers at the wheel of 300 cars battled it out on this iconic track under a sunny sky.
Unfortunately, the meeting ended on a tragic note with the passing of Alain Lagache. During his Maxi 2L Classic race, Alain Lagache suffered a loss of consciousness. He was immediately attended to by the circuit’s medical team, who carried out resuscitation efforts. After his condition was stabilized, he was airlifted to the Nevers hospital, where he suffered a second cardiac arrest, during which further resuscitation attempts proved unsuccessful. The HVM Racing organization team extends its deepest condolences to his wife, his family, and all his friends in the Historic Tour community.
