Historic Tour Val de Vienne 2025 | Presentation of the week-end
After a well-deserved summer break for its drivers, HVM Racing turns the lights green again and kicks off the final stretch of its season. For its fourth round, the French Historic Circuit Championship (Historic Tour) heads west to the Val de Vienne circuit. Recently the host of the Historic Tour finale in past seasons, this demanding track will welcome the drivers for the penultimate round of the year.
On the program: 17 sprint races and a 90-minute endurance race to close out Saturday!
READY FOR BACK TO SCHOOL!
For its eleventh edition, the Historic Tour hits the road once again, setting up in Haute-Vienne at the end of summer, after stopping at Dijon-Prenois in early April, then Lédenon in mid-May, and Paul Ricard in mid-June. This weekend, from September 19 to 21, competitors head to another iconic venue in French motorsport: the Val de Vienne circuit – Le Vigeant, located between Poitiers and Limoges. A demanding 3.768 km track, it promises top speeds and plenty of battles, with fast corners and tighter bends in the third sector.
As at every stop, the schedule will be particularly packed: Friday will be dedicated to practice sessions, followed by a weekend featuring 17 sprint races across 8 different grids. Added to this will be a 90-minute endurance race to close out Saturday. Around 200 cars will be on track, driven by nearly 220 competitors from all over France and neighboring European countries. Among the most anticipated grids, the Lotus Trophy will gather no fewer than 40 cars. Two special highlights will also allow spectators to access the starting grid before the races begin: the Lotus Trophy on Saturday and the Formula Ford Kent Trophy on Sunday, during the “Grid Walk” activity, reserved for those who have chosen this immersive experience.
