DIJON MOTORS CUP 2022 : INTERNATIONALLY YOURS
For its ninth edition, the Dijon Motors Cup remains faithful to its (very good) habits with a rich program of multiple international series and the presence of F1 cars in race. Fifteen nations will be represented!
RESOLUTELY INTERNATIONAL
On the fringe of the French Historic Grand Prix and the Historic Tour meetings, HVM Racing proposes an event resolutely turned towards the international scene. Like the eight previous editions, this will be the case again at the beginning of October with a program based on eight grids with a continental audience, coming from Switzerland (Maxx Formula), Great Britain (HSCC F2), the Netherlands (NKHTGT), Lithuania (Lurani Trophy), Germany (P9 Challenge) or more globally from the whole of Europe (Historic F3 1000 cc) The international aspect of the Dijon Motors Cup will of course also be confirmed by the competitors. The more than 200 registered drivers are divided between no less than fifteen different nationalities, some of them even preparing to make the trip from the United States or Australia!
F1 IN RACE!
Thanks to the presence of the MAXX Formula series, seen this year at the Paul Ricard, Zandvoort, Assen and Spa, the Dijon Motors Cup public will have the privilege of seeing former F1 cars racing! Among the cars announced on the grid are a 1997 Benetton (ex Alesi/Berger), a 2001 Arrows (Verstappen/Bernoldi), a 2004 Jaguar (Webber/Klien), and a 2010 Sauber (De la Rosa/Kobayashi). These are exceptional machines that, to the delight of the eyes and ears, will be racing alongside other top single-seaters, including GP2 and former Superleague Formula cars.
F2, F3 AND JUNIOR FORMULA ON TRACK
Still on the subject of single-seaters, the former F2, F3 and Formula Junior cars will also be in the spotlight with their reference championships. In Dijon, the "International Historic Formula 2", dedicated to single-seaters built before 1979, will make its last appearance of the season after having previously visited the tracks of Hockenheim, Paul Ricard, Brands Hatch, Oulton Park and Silverstone. On its side, the "Historic F3 1000 cc European Trophy" will live in Burgundy its penultimate meeting of the year by gathering as usual F3 of the 1964/1970 period propelled by strident engines of 1000 cm3. Finally, on the occasion of its 2022 final, the "Lurani Trophy" will once again pay homage to the precious Formula Juniors of the years 1959/1963, as was previously the case at Hockenheim, the Red Bull Ring, Zolder and the Nürburgring.
GT AND ENDURANCE ON THE MENU
The NKHTGT series, a regular participant of the Dijon Motors Cup, will once again present its superb Sixties line-up to the Burgundian spectators. Most of them will be present at the start of the 300 km endurance race on Saturday. Other, more contemporary, GT cars will be on the P9 Challenge grid, which will be the first appearance at the Dijon Motors Cup. A dose of "modern" motorsport to make the cocktail even more tasty!

MAXX FORMULA
Races: Saturday 2:15 pm and Sunday 2:35 pm (2 x 20 mn).
The cars : F1, ChampCar, IndyCar and IRL single-seaters from before 1992, GP2, World Series by Renault, Superleague Formula, etc.

HISTORIC F3 1000 CC
Races: Saturday 11:10 am and Sunday 9:35 am (2 x 25 mn).
The cars: F3 single-seaters with 1000 cm3 engines from the 1964/1970 period.

LURANI TROPHY FORMULE JUNIOR
Races: Saturday 11:55 am and Sunday 10:20 am (2 x 25 mn).
The cars: Formula Junior single-seaters from the 1959/1963 period.

The cars : Protos (before 1982 or before 1985 for the S2000) and GT/berlines eligible for one of the Dijon Motors Cup grids (before 1966 for the NKHTGT cars)
